Kirsten was a guest speaker for our quarterly Speaker Series for Dancer Health, and educated our group of dancers and their families about the components of well balanced snacks and meals, and how certain foods help with different body functions and moods. She also touched on how a one size fits all approach to nutrition doesn’t work, which was especially appreciated as positive body image for dancers is critical. It is so important for dancers to understand proper nutrition, and Kirsten explained this beautifully. I was very impressed with how she took something that can seem overwhelming and confusing for teenagers, and simplified it so they could take the information and apply it immediately and safely to their lives. The feedback from the students and parents was very positive, and we are so grateful to have Kirsten as a resource for these dancers!”
